北斗市 Hokuto City has come to Sapporo’s Autumn Festival.

Hokuto is located on the Southern most tip of Hokkaido ‘s Oshima peninsula. Neighboring Hakodate city.
Being close to the sea I am sure they are just as famous for seafood as Hakodate, however today I sampled some tasty fried chicken. Known colloquially as “Zangi” around Hokkaido.
They had 3 different kinds. From the left Regular Zangi, spring onion Zangi, and my favorite salty Zangi.
You’ll find this and many other Hokuto city stalls at the festivals 8 section. This stall will be here until the 19th.
