Another great find today at the Sapporo Autumn Fest.
I got to bump into my good friend “Johnny”! You may be thinking “Johnny?”… Well, when we first met he introduced himself jokingly as “Johnny Depp”! Anyway, it’s always such a pleasure going to one the Monkichi restaurants. They’re always full of bright and friendly characters.
Very happy to see that they are at the festival again this year.
They are famous for their seafood. They have Wakkanai whelks, Hamanaka oysters and Kushiro caught Pacific saury! Don’t be concerned if you don’t know these place names, but they’re all seaside cities in Hokkaido.
Drop by and say “hi” to Johnny! Be sure to give him my regards also.
